Directed by John Gray III

SAN DIEGO, CA – Trinity Theatre is proud to begin its 2019 season (Season VII) with Larry Shue’s hilariously awkward play: THE NERD. The action centers on the hilarious dilemma of a young architect who is visited by a man he’s never met but who saved his life in Vietnam—the visitor turning out to be an incredibly inept, hopelessly stupid “nerd” who outstays his welcome with a vengeance. Buy your tickets today.

John Gray III directs local actors Eddy Lukovic, Rachel Landis, Eric Trigg, David Janisch, Deirdre Maloney, and Skot Golden-Needham. The design team includes Carlyn Thometz (Scenic), Marc Akiyama (Sound), Jacob Golden-Needham (Lights), and Sharonfaith Horton (Props). Nicole Riedel is the Stage Manager. The Nerd is written by Larry Shue, and is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
