He is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), the labor union of professional directors. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University. He has directed, performed, and stage managed around San Diego, for theatres including North Coast Repertory Theatre and Cygnet Theatre.
