SAN DIEGO, CA – Trinity Theatre is proud to begin its 2019 season (Season VII) with David Lindsay-Abaire’s zany play: FUDDY MEERS. It tells the story of an amnesiac, Claire, who awakens each morning as a blank slate on which her husband and teenage son must imprint the facts of her life. One morning Claire is abducted by a limping, lisping man who claims her husband wants to kill her. Buy your tickets today.

KANDACE CRYSTAL (Claire) – This is Kandace’s second production with Trinity Theatre Company, after performing as St. Monica in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Originally from Miami, Florida, Kandace has a BFA in Acting from Florida State University and has been in numerous productions including Pickwick’s Romeo & Juliet, Blindspot Collective’s Qulili and Backyard Renaissance’s reading of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. Kandace looks forward to making her mark on the Southern California theatre scene. Lastly, she would like to thank her amazing and supportive family! #PlayOn
ERIC TRIGG (Richard) – Eric is happy and grateful to be back at the wonderful Trinity Theatre. After ten years of theater on Long Island, He now lives in Point Loma. Favorite roles include: George in All My Sons, Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Ship’s Captain in Anything Goes, Barry in Boys Next Door, and Charles in Romance in D. Many thanks to the Trinity Theatre Company.
EDDY LUKOVIC (Limping Man) – Eddy is a San Diego resident and proud graduate of UC-Santa Barbara. He studied dramatic arts at San Diego City College and Grossmont College as well completed advanced Suzuki/Viewpoints training with Siti Company out of New York City. Most recently, he was in Saville Theater’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He is proud to be a part of the Fuddy Meers cast!
TRAVIS RYNDERS (Kenny) – Travis is a performer and teacher working in the San Diego area most recently credited with a performance as Ray Dooley in a production of The Beauty Queen of Leenan by Martin McDonough. He also recently performed in the Coronado Playhouse’s production of King Charles III as Prince Harry. He would like to give thanks to his fellow artists and all of those who have given him support this year and hopes you enjoy the show.
DAVID JANISCH (Millet) – is thrilled to be making his debut with The Trinity Theatre
Company and The Tenth Avenue Arts Center. Recent credits include: The Rocky
Horror Show (The Narrator), and Reefer Madness the Musical (The Lecturer) at OB
Playhouse. The Eight: Reindeer Monologues (Dasher) OB Playhouse. You Will Be
Found, A Musical Review, Chicago (Amos Hart) Apolliad Theatre. He’s appeared as
(Dante the Ghost Host) for 14 years Haunted San Diego Theatre on Wheels. David is a nationally certified Interpreter for the Deaf. David thanks Sean, the entire crew,
talented fun cast and Peter for their support.
SHARONFAITH HORTON (Gertie) – Sharonfaith is delighted to be playing the unique role of Gertie in Fuddy Meers. Sharonfaith has portrayed Dr. Ruth in Becoming Dr. Ruth, Cora Gump in A Bad Year for Tomatoes, and last year Miep in The Diary of Anne Frank for Trinity Theatre. She has also appeared as Mrs. Nelson in Missing Greenbacks, Martin Luther’s Mother in Martin Luther and other roles for the Circle Players, roles at the North Park Vaudeville Theatre and the role of Iris for Theatre Alive. Sharonfaith also enjoys directing and has directed short plays as well as full length plays. She thanks Sean P. Boyd for this opportunity and friends and family for supporting her in her passion.
KRISTEN WASHINGTON (Heidi) -Kristen is so excited to return to Trinity Theatre Company for her second show! Kristen has a BFA in Theater Arts- Performance from Hofstra University in New York. Her favorite roles have included Lizzie Borden in Lizzie Borden of Fall River, Gertrude in Hamlet, and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth here at Trinity Theatre Co. last spring! She is so grateful to be a part of Fuddy Meers! Lastly, she would like to thank her family for their continuous support in all that she does.
SEAN BOYD (Director / Artistic Director) Sean Boyd is the co-founder of Trinity Theatre, and has served as Artistic Director since its inception in 2012. He is an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), the labor union of professional directors. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University. Directing Credits include: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Bugsy Malone Jr., Riddle Me Ree, Maple and Vine, Becoming Dr. Ruth, Duck Hunter Shoots Angel, Twelve Angry Men, Lovers (Trinity); Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (SD Junior Theatre); Cyber-O (Scripps Ranch Theatre); Table for One (North Park Vaudeville); Willy Wonka Jr (Carmel Del Mar). Performance Credits: Dust, Sons of the Prophet (Cygnet Theatre); On The Eve (SDSU / La Jolla Playhouse Collaboration); Knuffle Bunny, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Pinkalicious, Sleeping Beauty (North Coast Rep’s PTF). BIANCA JENNINGS (Assistant Director) – Bianca Jennings is currently studying at UCSD as a Theatre Major. She has assistant directed for plays in a multitude of genres varying from farce such as Noises Off! and musicals like American Idiot. Earning her associates of arts degrees in Theatre Arts for transfer, Theatre Arts- Performance and Liberal Arts: Emphasis in Arts and Humanities, receiving all her degrees with honors. This is her first time working with Trinity Theatre Company and is grateful to be given this opportunity! She hopes to continue working with amazing artists and create wonderful and beautiful art!
SHAUN LIM (Stage Manager) – Shaun is thrilled to collaborate with the talented team at Trinity Theatre Company for the first time, and thanks Sean deeply for the opportunity! A recent graduate from Yale-NUS College, Shaun is a fresh face in San Diego where he is currently pursuing his Biomedical Sciences PhD at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Shaun began acting when he fell in love with theatre in his freshman year of college. Since then, he has since been involved in numerous productions as an actor, director, designer or stage manager. Production credits: The Lord of the Flies, 4.48 Psychosis, Boom, Overtime, Mergers and Accusations, and Oleanna (Yale-NUS). Performance credits: Free Hugs (Clairemont Act One); An Iliad, Oleanna (Yale-NUS); and Kindertransport (Zürich Comedy Club). When not in the theatre, Shaun enjoys conducting research on aging mechanisms and developing new cocktail recipes.
KELLEN GOLD (Fight Choreographer) – Kellen is thrilled to return to Trinity! A San Diego-based actor, stage manager and fight choreographer, she holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University, having previously studied at Saint Martin’s University in Washington. Last summer, she stage managed Tuesdays with Morrie, and was fight choreographer for TTC’s 2016 production of The Two Musketeers!. Her choreography has been featured onstage and in film. Kellen is also a part-time instructor at Martial Arts America in Coronado, where she earned her 1st degree black belt in 2014. She is an associate artist at Lamb’s Players Theatre in Coronado, and made her performance debut in 2018 as June in Smoke on the Mountain at the Avo Theatre in Vista. Favorite past credits include Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Leon in Eye of the Beholder (SMU), Laurent in Tartuffe (Coronado Playhouse), and Laura in Year of the Woman (San Diego Fringe Festival).
RICHARD COSTANTINOU (Scenic Designer) – Richard is the Vice President of Trinity Theatre’s Board, and serves on many of it’s committees. After retiring from the State, he continues to spend time working around his home, volunteering around San Diego and time at the Magic Castle, where he serves as a magician. He performed in the mid-late 80s, and thanks Sean for the opportunity to be a part of this production. He was recently in a film titled, Dimension Infinity, where he played Hideous Creature #1.
ANTON MULVANEY (Costume Designer) – Anton is delighted to return to Trinity Theatre, after Costume Designing The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Anton has worked as the Assistant Costume Designer (under Lucio Mendez) for the GMSR’s productions of The Sound of Boozin’ and Bearspray. During the day, he is a Senior Program Manager in the Biotech Industry and has spent the last 28 years in pursuit of cures for incurable diseases (including HIV and Cancer). His passion for Costume and Fashion designs have only just begun to be pursued.
MARC AKIYAMA (Sound Designer) – Marc is a composer for film and theatre and a professional percussionist and keyboardist. An an alumnus of NYU’s Percussion Performance Program, Marc has been working in San Diego Professional Theatre as a musician, assistant music director, and occasionally actor. Credits include Jerry Allison in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (NVA & Intrepid), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (NVA), as well as guest conducting and performances with orchestras and other artists. Marc also co- hosts The Song to Screen Podcast which explores the music techniques of film and theatre. This is Marc’s first production with Trinity Theatre Company. KATHY PARKS (Prop Master) – Kathy Parks is thrilled to be a small part of this fun and interesting production. She has worked backstage also at Coronado Playhouse, Pickwick Players and OB Playhouse. Thank you Sean Boyd for this opportunity, Trinity Theatre Company rocks!
